I'm not that type of girl.

Hi everyone, my name is Julie, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! This site is dedicated to sharing my personal journey as a transgender woman. For those unfamiliar with the term, “transgender” encompasses individuals whose gender identity, expression, or behavior differs from what's typically associated with the sex they were assigned at birth. It's important to understand that being transgender is not a mental illness. If you're curious to learn more, I recommend visiting the tvChix website for comprehensive information.

Personally, I feel like I was born with both male and female aspects, like two sides within me taking turns to express themselves. My main advice to others is to always be mindful of your surroundings and ensure you're safe. While acceptance is growing, not everyone understands, so it's essential to stay in control of your situation and dress appropriately.

I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures in the world! I choose the Rainbow Butterfly as a symbol for this blog because it represents the transformative journey from a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly, a transformation I deeply relate to as a transgender woman. Furthermore, I'd much rather be a butterfly than a flag! It's crucial to remember that the transgender experience is diverse, ranging from drag queens to those who undergo full gender confirmation surgery, and everything in between.

All I ask for is a little respect and understanding. Not all transgender people are gay, we are all unique individuals. As far as I'm concerned, I don't have a problem; the problem lies with those who don't understand. By browsing this blog, you agree to the data and copyright laws.
