I'm not that type of girl.

Hi, my name is Julie and to my corner of the internet, this site is about me and my journey through life as transgender.  For you who don't know what transgender is, it's an umbrella term for persons whose gender identity, gender expression or behaviour does not conform to that typically associated with their sex at birth and is not a mental illness. For me, I was born both sexes, with a male body, but in my mind, there are two sexes inside which take it in turns to be able to express themselves.  My words of advice would be never get yourself into a situation that you can't get out of! Even in this day and age, there are still people that don't understand, know where you are going and keep in control and dress properly for the occasion!

 

I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures in the big wide World! The Rainbow Butterfly symbolizes the caterpillar turning into a beautiful butterfly as a transgender I can relate to. I'd rather be a butterfly than a flag! Not all Transgender is the same, there is a wide spectrum from Drag Queen to full sex change and a lot in between, so all I ask is a little of respect, not all Transgender are gay, we are all different in our own little ways. I don't have a problem, people who don't understand have the problem!
