Personally, I feel like I was born with both male and female aspects, like two sides within me taking turns to express themselves. My main advice to others is to always be mindful of your surroundings and ensure you're safe. While acceptance is growing, not everyone understands, so it's essential to stay in control of your situation and dress appropriately.

I choose the Rainbow Butterfly as a symbol for this blog because it represents the transformative journey from a caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly, a transformation I deeply relate to as a transgender woman. Furthermore, I'd much rather be a butterfly than a flag! It's crucial to remember that the transgender experience is diverse, ranging from drag queens to those who undergo full gender confirmation surgery, and everything in between. 

All I ask for is a little respect and understanding. Not all transgender people are gay, we are all unique individuals.
