Welcome to Julie's World

Welcome to my Blog page, below are just a few places I have visited over the years as Julie, I have returned to some of them throughout the seasons. As long as you put all the effort in as you can as being feminine and dressing the part, you can also enjoy the female side of life.

The first step is the hardest! But the more you go out, the easier it becomes. It's taken me 40+ years to get to this part, so what are you waiting for, life is short and take a chance. Some people might guess that I'm transgender, I have to say that no-one has given me any negative feedback. I have also been chatted up a few times, but that is life.

Holidays

It's the time to think about holidays! I didn't have one last year, as in, staying in another place. So with that in mind, I have booked a cottage for 10 nights for Julie. Before I stayed at Parkdean Caravan park, once in Camber sands in a caravan and the other time in Great stone in a bungalow on a caravan park. It was nice enough for the money, and was only for a week.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! Sorry for being late, more work than celebration. Today I decided to go sale shopping, a bit of a treat. I found two nice dresses, and even more reduced, in the shop. One was £50 reduced to £30 and the other was £45 reduced to £18. If you are prepared to do your homework, then you might find a bargain!

Nutcracker Christmas at the Castle

I have to confess that The Nutcracker is not well known to me, I have heard of it but never took an interest until now. I love going to the castle with all the Christmas trees in every room of the castle.

I was able to attend my first Christmas Sparkles party, which was hosted by Brandy B and the food prepared by Cindi with the help of David. The hospitality was warm and friendly, the food and drink provided were impeccable.

Motors by the moat

Leeds Castle was holding its annual event - Motors by the moat. I have been meaning to go for ages, and the weather was good for a change. There were many cars there: army, classic, the Ghostbuster's car, motorbikes, and many more, including a jet ski display and a stunt car display. It was a good day out, the price was included in the year pass and free parking.

Brighton Racecourse

This is my first time to a Horse racecourse and did I win, NO! Well winning isn't everything, it's the taking part that counts and a chance to get dolled up at Brighton Horse Racecourse Ladies Day, and put on your best dress on and heels! The day out was organised by Cindi, through Brandy B, with a coach getting us there, we were not the only group of transgender there. The weather started off good but soon turned in to rain and a strong wind, not good for a fascinator, next time will go with the clip version and a jacket.

Tea for two

Tea for two, actually one, pure indulgence, why not. I wanted to go to Eastwell Manor - Champaneys for ages and how I had the chance. So, as you can see in the pictures, the food was excellent, you can taste every bit, and I paid extra for a glass of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Champagne, very nice! Of which the total cost was £46. Which took around 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish off the whole afternoon tea.

Pashley Manor Gardens

Today I revisited Pashley Manor in Sussex, the garden not the house, I think I have been going there about 15 years and never got the chance to go into the house.
