Every girl loves shopping, except the cost! Going to an event and need a dress, there are not many shops that sell dresses, well nice one anyway.
But the dress is not enough! You have to think about the full look, shoes, handbag, tights/stockings, jewellery, new wig if required etc…
Then you should think about what type of event, in this case a dinner, is it going to rain, is it going to get cold, is the surface grass or solid, etc…
It's going to be a public place, so is it safe? Is it going to be late, are you going to be chatted up? It happens! I'm going in a group, which I have been with before so it gives me an idea of what to expect, and being a Wednesday night shouldn't be too lively!
With the shopping bit, I never get a bad word against me, shop people are kind and as long as you behave yourself and be polite you should get any trouble. My advice would be eye contact, only look at people you want to talk to and shop.
Even sitting in a coffee shop and people watching, can be fun. Just check your phone etc… We are not getting any younger and get out there, start small, and you will find your confidence grows, you will start to wonder why I didn't do it sooner!
