It’s that time again for the Christmas lights at Leeds Castle, this would be the 3rd year I have been. I was going last weekend, but the event was cancelled due to bad weather.

Just book your tickets and parking space online, the ticket was £26 and this time was free parking due to being a member. I like to get there a bit early due to parking, queuing, and scanning tickets. I didn't have to wait long, I would suggest you take a small torch as the ground can be uneven.
You can buy tokens for the fair rides, online or at the fair, food is available, usually starts with £10 for a burger, etc… I would rather stop off at the Fish and Chip shop, on my way home, It cost me £8 for a medium portion of chips and 2 Jumbo sausages.
The event was OK. A few new things, I just love watching the young children running around looking at all the lights, meeting Santa, chewing on candy floss. Making memories, for them to look back on.
I did take some pictures, it was very dark, and my camera was struggling, I was trying to find a light source for the camera. I don't think a picture does the event justice. The weather was quite mild for the time of year, which was a surprise from the weekend before.
I have uploaded a few more pictures on my Flickr page, so go and have a look. Click Here.
