I was invited to the first Ladies Dining Club located in East Kent (Canterbury), They didn't have any venues or events to go too.
The Ladies Dining Club was arranged by Connie Roberts as a trial run, and it was most successful, I did arrive early, very early as I know traffic could be a problem.
The Old Gate Inn is just on the outskirts of Canterbury, and has free parking. You have to put your car's registration in, or you could get a parking ticket. There are plenty of spaces. There are lots of little rooms connected for discreet dinning, or you could eat outside if the weather is good. The staff are friendly, our server was Danni, she is a funny character.
The food is good. I had the Fish & Chips, it was quite large, so I couldn't finish it. I was planning to have desert but had no room, so I had a latte coffee. It as a nice little group, good conversation, tucked away in a room off the main restaurant.
