Here I am at Great Comp which is just outside of Borough Green, I thought no garden could beat Great Dixter, but I think this one does, and I hope the pictures say it all, nearly every time you turn a corner there is a picture waiting to be taken. This year the Garden is celebrating 50 years of the creators, Roderick & Joy Cameron first open the garden back in 1968.

The garden is an RHS Partner, so if you are a member you have benefits to be had. The entrance fee was £8.00 and the parking was free. There are plants to be purchased at the nursery, not a great amount, but they specialize in Salvia's. There tearoom is small and if there is a coach party, then there is a long queue then a long wait to find space for a table. The amenities were OK (Ladies).
I would have liked to of seen more roses dotted about, and there is bare soil which just needs planting up. There are points of interest in the garden like the Moon Gate, The Temple, Monkey Puzzle Tree (Very young), Summerhouse (Useful when it rains), Stonewall remains (fake walls), beautiful trees, lawns, ferns, Hardy Geraniums.
The list goes on. The only thing that let it down was the British weather, stop, start with showers and thunder. I would recommend it to anyone as one of the best gardens to visit in Kent.
