Little Church

Welcome to a wet and windy October, I haven't had much time to organize a big trip out, so I paid a visit to a little church called St Mary's Church, Nettlestead, built in 961,  Eadgifu (daughter of Edward the Elder, King of Wessex and England) of Kent gave the manor of Peckham to the monks of Canterbury. A church was in existence at the time of Domesday.

So tiptoeing through the gravestones in high heels is not the ideal footwear, but I haven't worn heels in ages, which I missed.

With the changing colour of the leaves and conker littering the ground, the odd squirrel foraging for food to store for the winter ahead.
