Finally, done it, get my ears pierced! It just adds a bit more of a feminine touch. The first thing is to think about is over a few days, I would rush it. Have a look around for a professional service, a lot are offering free ear piercings when you but a set of earrings, but I think more importantly is the after care!
It is a medical procedure which can go wrong or get infected! And you don't want that! So I chose Superdrug! Why they have a licence and after care, all clean, and before you have it done you have to fill out a form, also they and happy with Transgender / cross dressers, so it's one less thing to worry about as they are going to get close to you! I do love Superdrug, so friendly.
The procedure is simple, it does hurt a little bit when pierced, but it soon goes. The earring goes into the ear at the same time as I thought, they make the hole then put the earring in after wards. I was surprised how quick it was. You also get to decide what earrings / style you want, prices differ.
I think the total was £35, but that included silver earrings (or you can have gold) less chance of getting an infection from cheap earrings, Information on how to clean around the earring and a bottle of cleaning fluid. All added in to the price. You are not meant to take them out for six weeks! So sleeping with them is a new experience and I did forget they are in my ears, so I did knock one, and it hurts, did check it and it's fine. I will have to remember they are in there.
You can buy kits online, but it's easier and safer for a professional to do it, and they will measure and make sure your earrings are symmetrical as your ears are not quite the same shape, last thing you want is wonky earrings!
You can't walk pass a mirror now without checking out your earrings, they are so cute!
