Had a quick trip to the Village Tearooms in Borough Green, it's a quirky little tearoom just in the High-street. Parking is a bit of a problem as you can stay on the road for two hours or use the car park up the road which you have to pay.

It's not very big tearoom and the staff are very polite, the cakes are homemade, you can tell the difference. The prices are average, but I don't mind that because it's supporting a small independent business.
Just had a latte and a bread and butter cake, you can taste the cinnamon, not over powering, which came to just over £6. There is a Costa up the road, but the food is mass-produced.
Would love to try a proper cake stand full of cake and sandwiches, tea optional, one day. Even given a loyalty card on the way out. I can imagine it will get very busy when the hot weather arrives.
