Shop until you drop!

I thought I would update you, having some massive bills to pay, car repairs (£900) and electric (£450) which impacts on spending for Julie, as in not buying stuff and going out. And the (£180) for the holiday, so I have to be a bit frugal on spending.

As you know, a girl needs to shop, (my therapy time). Still, with my holiday in mind and the sun actually out, I need a few items, makeup and clothes, off to Maidstone I go as Julie. The first store is usually Bonmarche, they cater for my age group, I could spend a fortune in there, but I have to be sensible and I purchased a summer skirt.

Then I'm off to Superdrug, I am looking for: eyebrow pen, eyebrow gel, mascara and female deodorant.

I can't stand body odour, especially if it's coming from someone else! Yuck! Again I think is the makeup going to last? So, buying cheap is not always best. Again with makeup is more trial and error, more error as we all have different skin types.

Then I went to TJ Hughes, found two summer dresses, one was £22 and the other was reduced down to £12, Ideal for the garden. They were white with patterns on to go with my white healed sandals, and a summer skirt, Blue and white, quite thin material, ideal for summer. They also have a good selection of jewellery and watches. I was just browsing at them.

I also went to Bodycare, A nice little shop on a budget for makeup and things.
I usually go in to New look, but resisted, went into Boots and couldn't find my hand cream I wanted. Went into Peacocks, Deichmann, Shoe zone, the list goes on…

So the question is: To pee or not to pee? That means using the ladies toilets, for me the answer is yes, I'm not going into the men's and sometimes the disabled are locked, and they need a key, So I just went in and used the cubical and washed my hands and dried them and went. No dramas, no fuss. Where else can I go? I am lucky no-one seams to care. I respect women, I just want to go to the loo!

I was also a bit peckish and went to Wendy's and ordered a combo meal, no cheese, thank you! I ate it inside, never been upstairs before, it said it could seat 40 at a push. I was a bit disappointed that the ketchup started to run out as you try to fill those little paper pots. I always fill up a few pots! And you can drink as much as your bladder can handle. Total was about £7.99.

I could have shopped some more, but I would just end up buying more! So I slowly walked home via the river, took a few snaps and watched the world go by. So I try to set a budget for Julie, I did go over budget, but It was a treat and I only do it in a blue moon.
