Christmas is almost here... Leeds Castle

With all the stress from work, well other people falling apart, I needed to escape as Julie and have a day out. As there is hardly anything open this time of year. So a winter walk, embracing the elements or more like looking like you have been dragged through a hedge or two and then pushed off Beachy head for the windswept look! It was the look I was going for! Not!

With the hint of Christmas in the air, it's almost as popular as Brexit or the election we have just had! Don't worry, Christmas will soon be back on track with twelve sleeps to go! Back to the walk, I headed for the Castle for the Magical Birds and Festive Feathers, try saying that faster and faster! To be honest I think last year was better, don't get me wrong the amount of work gone in to these creations is wonderful, but I prefer last years.

As I was walking around there was hardly anyone around, I think there were more staff than visitors which can be a good thing especially if you need to try on hats, glasses, take photos etc… There is almost a Christmas tree in every room which is nice and festive, but the lighting in the rooms is not good, and you're not to use a flash on the camera, I don't like using it as it flattens the image.

Overall It was good to get out and have a day as Julie going shopping, walking and having a good nose around. Today I have to start my Christmas cards and watch The Grand Tour, grumpy old men in boats! I hope to be Julie Just before Christmas, but If I don't Merry Christmas! For more pictures, you can visit my MediaFire album Click Here.
